Tour 2022

In January 2022 AETERNITAS will support the outstanding Russian symphonic metal outfit IMPERIAL AGE on their whole Western European tour – 21 shows in seven countries!

New single “Shadows” with new vocalist Miss ScarRed released

The German Symphonic Metal formation AETERNITAS presents on 11/04/2021, “Shadows”, the first single with their fantastic new front lady Miss ScarRed, where she showcases all her vocal facets. The band proves with the epic new song released via Dr. Music Records that they have made a real catch with the female vocalist, who since June invigorates the line-up. With an anthemic intro, the frontwoman, with her characterizing fiery red mane, sets off directly in the typical AETERNITAS alternating vocals with Alex Hunzinger. The duo harmonizes wonderfully and inspires even with dark growls, which offer an intriguing contrast to the great clean vocals. The song is carried by a melodic, twophonic guitar part and deals with ancient legends that turn out to be genuine at the core and come over people like shadows. Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s nightmares, the new single gives musical shape to the dark threats.

Farewell Rick

Unfortunately, we have to announce our second farewell this year: with a heavy heart we have to say goodbye to our dear band mate Rick!
Please read here his farewell statement to the fans:

<<< The global pandemic has given many the chance to reflect on themselves and their personal situations in the last 18 months. After 4 years in Germany, some amazing memories and experiences, both personally and together with Aeternitas, I have decided to begin the next chapter in life, including a significant relocation, meaning it is unfortunately no longer possible to continue with the band.

Whilst there is an inevitable sense of sadness to be leaving, the arrival of Miss Scar Red starts a new era of Aeternitas and the timing therefore seems natural to allow a new bass player to take over.

I wish to thank the fans, Anja, Daniel, Frank and, of course, Alex for his tireless commitment, efforts and inspirational leadership. I also wish to thank Oliver and Julia, both of whome I remain in contact with and wish Aeternitas all the best for their future success, together with Miss Scar Red.

We will really miss Rick’s easy and funny nature behind the scenes and his powerful and energetic performance on stage!
We wish Rick all the best for his new symphonic metal project Artemis & Apollo!
